Developed with some of Germany's leading orchestral players, the YTR-946 can be found in many of the world's top orchestras. In fact, it has been so effective in giving a more traditional tone colour to 'Germanic' style music, that many conductors have begun specifically requesting 'Yamaha Rotaries'. It features a tone which is dark and full-with plenty of orchestral power-yet can blend well with other brass and woodwinds. Intonation is accurate and it is surprisingly easy to play.
