Home > Chappell Piano Tuning and Technical Service
The aim of the Chappell Piano Tuning and Technical Service is to provide a competitive, friendly and efficient tuning and technical service. In order to keep your piano in the best possible condition, we suggest repeat tunings at intervals of six months for frequently played instruments.
All pianos will be tuned by ear to A440 Hz concert pitch. Unless:
a) It is not physically possible, or
b) A pitch raise is considered necessary but the customer does not agree to the additional charge.
In these circumstances the instrument will be left in tune at its existing pitch.
Any additional work deemed necessary by the tuner will be fully explained to the customer and a written quotation produced after the visit. The Tuning and Technical Service will book the appointment after the customer's authorisation for the work has been received.
Any tuning discrepancies reported by the customer within 48 hours of the tuning appointment will be rectified free of charge.
