Chappell of Bond Street is delighted to announce an additional concert in our Lunchtime Concert Season featuring the Pianist Rupert Egerton-Smith.

After a hugely successful and popular winter mini-season of Lunchtime Conservatoire Concerts we are delighted to welcome Rupert Egerton-Smith to Chappells on Wednesday March 25th where he will give an additional lunchtime recital at 1pm. Rupert was a finalist in the Yamaha Amateur Piano Competition 2005 and we are pleased to host another London appearance for this acclaimed artist.

The Artist:
 
English born Pianist Rupert Egerton-Smith combines deep musical sensitivity with a scintillating technique. Prizewinner in a number of international competitions, he is increasingly in demand as a recital pianist and concerto soloist and draws on a varied and extensive repertoire.
Recent Recital and Concerto engagements have included performances in the USA, UK, Bulgaria and France. His performance of Ravel’s Gaspard de la Nuit in Paris’ Salle Gaveau was watched by over a million people on France 2.
 
He also composes original music for documentaries and commercials.

This performance is free of charge and will take place in the Recital Room of Yamaha Artist Services Europe (London), situated within the historic Piano Hall at Chappell of Bond Street’s West End store.  The recital will commence at 1pm.
